DESCRIPTION
Actinomycete Agar is a medium used for the isolation of actinomycetes from soil and water.
PRINCIPLE
Sodium caseinate and asparagine provide nitrogen for organisms growth. Sodium propionate is a substrate for anaerobic fermentation.
Dipotassium phosphate acts as buffer. Magnesium sulfate and ferrous sulfate are sources of sulfates and metallic ions. Glycerol is a
source of carbon. Agar is the solidifying agent.
