Contact Plate (triple-wrapped, gamma-irradiated)
Sabouraud CAF Agar + Neutralizing is a selective medium used for the isolation of fungi from sanitized surfaces
as well as for monitoring fungal contamination by air sampling.
The formula is based on the harmonized USP/EP/JP method for determination of total combined yeast/mould
count (TYMC) and detection of Candida spp.
This medium is also available as gamma-irradiated, triple-bagged plates, particularly suitable for use in
restricted areas like isolators and clean rooms.
