Description ESBL+AmpC Screen Disc Kit REF 99008 is a disc-based screening kit for simultaneous detection of ESBL and/or AmpC β-lactamase-producing Enterobacteriaceae using the Combination Disc Test (CDT) method. Contains four Cefotaxime-based discs with selective inhibitors — Clavulanic acid (inhibits ESBL) and Cloxacillin (inhibits AmpC) — enabling differentiation between ESBL-only, AmpC-only, and co-producing isolates in a single test. Manufactured by Liofilchem® per EUCAST guidelines. Available as 4 × 50 discs (50 tests). Test Procedure Prepare a 0.5 McFarland suspension and inoculate a Mueller Hinton II agar plate Apply all four discs.
