Where this product fits
This product fits environmental monitoring where repeatable sampling and neutralization are more important than a single isolated result. The lab should connect the medium to surface type, disinfectant residues, incubation plan, alert/action limits, and trend review.
Result signals and confirmation
The expected result depends on the validated method for surface hygiene and environmental monitoring. The analyst should document the observation that drives the decision, such as colony appearance, count, inhibition pattern, growth/no-growth response, or need for confirmatory testing.
Method principle
Beef extract and tryptone provide nitrogen, carbon, sulphur and other essential growth factors. Glucose is the source of energy. Agar is the solidifying agent. Lecithin and Tween 80 neutralize quaternary ammonium compounds contained in sanitizers.
