Product and use case
Liofilchem Buffered Listeria ENRICHMENT Broth Culture Media 610324 is a Liofilchem microbiology product supplied by Kormay Biomedicals. Its practical role is bUFFERED LISTERIA ENRICHMENT BROTH is a selective enrichment medium for the detection of Listeria spp. in food. The addition of potassium di-hydrogen orthophosphate and disodium hydrogen orthophosphate increase the buffering capacity of the medium.
This product supports Listeria workflows in ready-to-eat food, dairy, meat, and environmental monitoring programs where early presumptive recovery must lead into confirmation.

When this format is useful
Use this product where the lab must protect a recovery step before confirmation. For ready-to-eat food and environmental samples, the important decision is not only whether growth appears, but whether the enrichment or plating step gives the organism enough opportunity to recover from stress, competing flora, preservatives, or cold-chain exposure.
